The Reflection Room

The Reflection Room is a wallcovering collection developed in partnership with the British brand Newmor. As part of Newmor’s annual invited designer programme, this collection marks the brand’s first collaboration with a Dutch designer.

The collection explores the dialogue between light, material, and space. Each design approaches perception in a different way, from subtle gradients to layered visual structures, allowing walls to shift in character throughout the day. Together, the designs form a cohesive concept; individually, each carries its own atmosphere.

Inspired by natural structures such as the rhythm of water, sand, and leaves, and by the strength and construction of the wall as an architectural element, The Reflection Room considers the wall not as a background, but as an active surface within a space.

Designed to create moments of pause and reflection, the collection offers interiors a quiet depth, where light, texture, and perception continuously interact.

Designs

Autumn Aurora
A warm interplay of colour and light, reminiscent of leaves illuminated in autumn.

Labyrinth
A structured pattern that invites the eye to wander through repetition and depth.

Ripple
A rhythmic surface in which light appears to move, like water gently touching the surface.

Summer Breeze
A subtle gradient that evokes openness and lightness, like a soft horizon where the gaze can wander.

Timber Check
A refined interplay of wood grain and geometry, where rhythm and order meet.

Shifting Shore
A quiet composition where land and water meet and continuously reshape one another.
