Amazed by transparency and femininity
PRISMANIA COLLECTION
The Palazzo edition of the Prismania chair is the youngest addition to the Prismania collection. The new high back chair puts you on a throne, empowering you with a royal backdrop of rainbow colors. At one point you barely see the transparent chair, take a step and it shows you all the colours of the spectrum. The chair can also embrace you with its arms and offer a comforting place to relax and let your mind wander freely. Prismania changes the view of the beholder. The room that is home alters into a version of itself that continues to change throughout the day.
The screen is topped by arches. To Elise Luttik the arches embody a door to a different world. The transparent screen shows engraving inspired by antique crystal glasses, which adds a graphic pattern in different colors of a prism. What was a surprise to Elise, is that the lines were mirrored, so even more colors and visual effects arise: “What I love is that this work can be both disco and humble. In a historic space Prismania Palazzo will from one point of view blend in with the decor. Take a step and it shows a contrast of styles that communicate with each other.”
After serious requests for a prismatic barstool solution, Studio Elise Luttik introduces this very complimenting barstool design to the Prismania Collection answering a gap in the hospitality interior market.

PRISMANIA CHAIR
The transparent Prismania Chair is both an artefact and a chair. At one point you can barely see it, take another step and it will show you all the colours of the spectrum due to dichroic film.

CO-DESIGN | STACKABLE
A growing global population and systematic urbanisation result in higher density of our living spaces- vertical solutions are becoming the norm. An increased pace of life results in hectic schedules. The designers have taken a look at how daily rituals fit in our busy lives. The result is Stackable: a series of three towers conceived to accomodate for these down to earth yet essential parts of our day to day life, with the aim create a quiet and indulging moment during the recurring rituals around sleep, body care, and food.

UPSIDE DOWN COLLECTION
The Upside Down Collection is a complete interior design concept consisting of multi functional furniture, everything transforms: the table becomes a basket, the chair changes into a throne and the transparent room divider turns into a non-see-through screen. The complete collection was presented for the firtst time at the Salone Satellite 2015. My works were part of the stand Dutch Satellite, a project of the Dutch Consulate General in Milan.

UPSIDE DOWN SCREEN
Elise Luttik presents the latest addition to her Upside Down Collection. A transparent room divider made from Ash and furnished with the fabric Zembra from the Vescom-collection. Due to the graphical quality of the fabric, one can play with the degree of transparency. This room divider provides privacy or openness depending on the positioning of the screens and created overlaps.

CHESTER CHAIR
The classy style of the iconic Chesterfield chair is translated to modern times. With modern techniques, ash wood can be made to match the noblesse of the original leather luxury. Chester is a luxurious and comfortable chair to fit your dining table. Surprisingly enough, Chester chair is stackable. Thus Chester closes the gap between comfortable but space claiming chairs and stackable, often uninviting industrial chairs.
